Scientists Discover New Planet 450

LONDON - It turned out that since 1995 scientists have conducted research on the universe. The result, they found approximately 450 new planets in the outer solar system.

From the course of a study, scientists found that there are planets which are very old, even until there is a lot like Earth. Scientists say primeval world, or oldest planets around 12.7 billion years old.

Reported by Space.com, Tuesday (29/06/2010), the scientists estimate the planet formed before the earth, and differ only 2 billion years of the Big Bang event. By scientists, it can be assumed that life may have occurred earlier.

Meanwhile, scientists are researching the planet 51 Pegasi B, Jupiter-like planets. Just as Jupiter, Bellerphon have a very hot surface temperature and lies in the constellation Pegasus. Bellerphon own name, according to Greek myth, the hero who tamed the winged horse Pegasus.

While planets similar to Earth is known as Gliese 581 C. However, despite having similarities with the Earth, the planet is half size larger and five times denser than Earth's.

Until now, researchers are still studying whether there is life on a planet similar to Earth.
